Individual Math Classes
Typically, math is taught as just a series of problems that students must learn to solve. After memorizing the steps, students get their grades and move on, having learned nothing substantial. Many tutoring centers just give worksheets, lots and lots of worksheets. They make math painful.
We don’t.
Math is exciting. Math is satisfying. Math makes sense. We teach our students the language of math so that they can read, write, think, and understand. This way, when they get a new problem, they can understand and figure it out quickly. Then, when they get into a job, they will have learned to solve problems and think logically.
We tutor in math from the elementary basics up through high school statistics and algebra.
Currently, we only run a group class for upper elementary math, focusing on fractions, percentages, and word problems.
